Post ISD - Middle School

Post, TX

About the project

As part of the $28 million 2012 Bond, Post ISD planned various campus upgrades, including constructing a new high school campus. This new construction would leave the old high school building vacant, allowing it to be repurposed. The existing middle school, built in the 1950s, was found to have extensive damage and severe structural issues, making renovation economically unfeasible. The plan involved demolishing the old middle school and renovating the old high school building to serve as the new middle school. Renovations for this transformation included adding a new secured vestibule entrance, remodeling classrooms, and repainting the campus.
