About the project

Post Elementary School had to be rebuilt after a fire destroyed the third through fifth-grade wing, and there was extensive smoke damage in most of the rest of the building. In May 2015, the board and community voted to build an entirely new elementary school rather than just the portion that had burned. The school accommodates close to 500 students and 50 faculty members. Along with the new elementary school, they received new playground equipment and appropriately sized desks and chairs for the younger students.
