About the project

The Curtis Culwell Special Events Center is a beautiful, state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility serving Garland ISD and the wider community. The event center hosts many district and community events of all kinds, such as competitive sporting events, performing arts, commencement ceremonies for the high school, weddings, corporate training, meetings, trade shows, and a myriad of other public and private events. Key amenities include a spacious multi-level lobby, a curved concourse, a versatile moveable stage with curtains, a bowl-shaped interior space with stadium-style seating, a press box, concession areas, dressing/locker rooms, restrooms, storage, and covered parking.
