Anna ISD - Slayter Middle School
Anna, TX
About the project
Slayter Creek Middle School, previously the Anna High School, was established in 2000. In 2011, the building was repurposed to serve as Anna's first middle school, and in 2023, it was renamed Slayter Creek Middle School. The growing student population led to the need for additional space, resulting in a planned 13,200 square foot expansion. This expansion includes a practice gym that also functions as a storm shelter, as well as extra locker rooms. The new building, situated alongside the main facade, features a design that complements the existing school by using a matching material palette, seamlessly blending the old and the new.
