The Clinical Tower/Research Center was constructed on the north east corner of the existing Health Sciences Center building. The project consists of approximately 125,000 SF of new construction and 24,000 SF of renovated space. The primary purpose of the building is to house outpatient clinics that will consist of Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and OB/ GYN, along with public areas and minimal ancillary support areas. The shell space in the existing HSC was renovated into Ophthalmology clinics and Faculty offices. The building consists of 4 floors plus a basement level.
