The City of Southlake Department of Public Safety building houses the Police department, sleeping quarters, a crime lab, a holding facility, and a municipal court area. Also included in this project is a pre-cast parking garage. The project also houses a firehouse with apparatus bay, and the Emergency Operations Center for the City of Southlake.

The City of Southlake DPS Headquarters was awarded the 2010 TEXO Distinguished Building Award for its unusual design and construction techniques, special obstacles, personnel management, quality control, scheduling, and project safety.
