The new Mesquite City Hall is a state-of-the-art facility that replaced the previous structure built in the early 1960s. The Municipal Complex was designed to maximize technology to improve efficiency, be more accessible to the public, and to improve transparency of government operations. The City Hall was Phase 2 of the Municipal master-planned campus expansion of city facilities. The City Hall contains the Municipal Court, along with district attorney offices, court clerks, and records. The Tax, Finance and Accounting offices, employee training rooms, and a new City Council Chamber are also located in the new city hall. The Municipal Complex campus houses Mesquite’s first LEED Silver-certified buildings.
